Meet Our Team

Alison (Deacon)

My name is Alison Tier and I’m deacon at EBC. I support Heather in youth work, and am excited to see young people grow in their faith and confidence. I have been a member of EBC for 25 years and have been truly blessed to get to know many wonderful people during this time. I am looking forward to the next chapter as we seek God's will for new ministries in the church.

I work as  a nurse specialist in diabetes which I love. In my spare time I enjoy being outside walking and exploring new places. It is tricky to think of a favourite Bible verse when asked! However there are many times when I need energy - physically and mentally so I will plump for Isaiah 40:29-31 (the picture of an eagle soaring in the sky is wonderful).
