What is Acts 435?
Acts 435 is based on the book of Acts in the bible - Chapter 4 verse 35 where we see the early church ‘giving to each as they had need’. Acts 435 is an online giving charity, providing practical help by directly connecting those who want to give, with those who are in genuine need of their help, through a network of local churches and charities.
How Does it Work?
Emsworth Baptist Church is part of this network making use of the Acts 435 resources to help connect those in need in our own community and those known to our church congregation with those who want to help meet those needs. The Acts 435 website enables people to give financially directly to a specific need and know they are making a difference to that person. The website provides anonymity and confidentiality to both those giving and those receiving help. Our church then uses the money given to source items that will have a big impact on someone’s life - such as a tandem bike for a blind lady, a sensory lamp for a young autistic boy or a washing machine for a disabled person.
