Girls’ Brigade

Girls Brigade is an international Christian uniformed organisation for girls aged 4 to 18. Our group is run by volunteer leaders who love working with the girls and young women and seeing them learn new skills, they are all DBS checked. We meet on a Tuesday evening, term time only. 5:45pm to 7:15pm (for ages 4 to 10) and 7pm to 8:30pm (for ages 10+). 

Subs are £2 per week and you can pay termly at £24 or half termly at £12.  We hire the uniform, a polo shirt, sweatshirt and bag for £30 and then we change the items when needed.

We offer girls the opportunity to meet new friends, learn new skills, achieve, have fun and learn more about Jesus week by week.

Each age group follows their own appropriate programme materials which are all themed  and they earn badges for their achievements. The programme is really varied and includes things like craft, games, fundraising, discussions, bible stories, drama, dancing, faith exploration, new skills and much, much more.

As well as our regular meeting night, throughout the year we also have sleepovers, outings, our annual summer display and awards evening and a Christmas presentation.
