Pebbles

Pebbles is a fun, friendly Christian based Toddler group which runs on a Monday between and 9.45 and 11.15 during school term times. We have provision for children from newborn babies until they got school.

We meet in a large hall within Emsworth Baptist Church and during the summer months we use the outside area too. We provide a range of activities on both table top and floor for both gross and fine motor skills.

We charge a weekly fee of £1.50 per family which covers a healthy snack for the children and coffee (and sometimes cake) for the parents and carers. However your first week is free! We encourage parents and carers to provide their own covered cup to prevent scalding accidents. Our session ends with music and singing of familiar nursery rhymes and we celebrate the children’s birthdays at this time too with a gift from the birthday box.

Most weeks the craft table activity is based on a Bible story and we celebrate the main Christian festivals for example Christmas, with a simple nativity story, party games, party food and a visit from Santa. We also celebrate a simple graduation in the summer for children moving on to school.
