Jesus teaches about not causing others to sin (Matthew 18:6-11; Mark 9:42-50), rewards in the Kingdom of Heaven (Mark 9:38-41), confronting sin in fellow believers and leading them toward repentance (Matthew 18:12-35), and the cost of following Him (Matthew 8:18-22; Luke 9:57-62)

Jesus attends the Feast of Tabernacles, passing through Samaria, but the people do not welcome Him. When Jesus’ disciples react angrily, He rebukes them and they travel to another village (Luke 9:51-56; John 7:10)
