  • Jesus teaches about not causing others to sin (Matthew 18:6-11; Mark 9:42-50), rewards in the Kingdom of Heaven (Mark 9:38-41), confronting sin in fellow believers and leading them toward repentance (Matthew 18:12-35), and the cost of following Him (Matthew 8:18-22; Luke 9:57-62)

  • He also confronts the unbelief of His brothers (John 7:2-9)

  • Jesus attends the Feast of Tabernacles, passing through Samaria, but the people do not welcome Him. When Jesus’ disciples react angrily, He rebukes them and they travel to another village (Luke 9:51-56; John 7:10)

  • While the Jewish leaders were looking for Jesus at the Festival of Tabernacles, the people whispered and debated about Jesus (John 7:11-13).

  • Jesus heals a man born blind and the Pharisees investigate the healing. Jesus teaches the Pharisees that He is the Gate and the Good Shepherd (John 9:1-10:21)
