Paul (Elder)

I'm married to Annie and we have a large family with 6 sons and 11 grandchildren. It's a challenge keeping track on them all, not to mention that Christmases are expensive. We lead a Life Group and love entertaining and contributing to the prayer life of the church.

We enjoy being outside, enjoying walks by the seashore and pottering in our garden. I also enjoy walking in the South Downs, particularly when there is a pub lunch at the end of it.  We are both interested in art and we both dabble in watercolour painting.

One of my favourite quotes from the late Dallas Willard is "Ruthlessly eliminate hurry".  It is such a key guide in life: hurry interferes with hearing from God and having intimacy with Him.
