Catherine (Deacon)

Having visited the South Coast regularly throughout childhood, we moved from Milton Keynes to Emsworth in 2022 to enjoy life down here to the full.

I currently work for a bank funding commercial mortgages, but enjoy reading, gardening and exercise in my spare time.

My favourite Bible verse is Matthew 6:7 where Jesus says "do not keep on babbling like pagans". It always makes me giggle when I first see or hear it. But it also reminds me to set my pretentiousness aside and have an honest conversation with God,  trusting that he knows and loves me enough to provide what I need regardless of if I deliver a beautifully crafted prayer, or a single repeated sentence.
